Event hire website design · Sydney
Hire websites that turn browsing into quote requests.
Your customers already know what they want: sixty chairs, a 6 m marquee, a photo booth for four hours. We build hire websites that let them find it, check it and request it in one go, so you quote faster and chase less.
What it needs
Nine things a hire website has to get right.
A hire site isn’t a portfolio with a contact form. It’s closer to a warehouse counter: customers need to find stock, understand it and ask for it without ringing you.

A catalogue organised the way customers think
Browse by category (chairs, tables, marquees, lighting) and by occasion (weddings, kids’ parties, corporate). Search and filters only where a large range genuinely needs them.
Fewer “do you have…?” messagesProduct pages that answer the questions
Dimensions, quantities available, colours and finishes, what’s included, and a price or genuine starting price. Real photos of your stock, not a manufacturer’s render.
Faster, more accurate quotesA quote cart
Customers add items and quantities while they browse, then send one structured request with date, venue, guest count and delivery window.
One message instead of threeAvailability that matches reality
Live availability from your rental software where you have it, or a simple “check this date” request where you don’t. Never a promise your warehouse can’t keep.
No double-booked chairsDelivery zones and fees, in plain sight
Which suburbs you deliver to, how delivery and collection are charged, and what access details you need: stairs, lifts, parking.
Fewer out-of-area enquiriesPackages and bundles
Ready-made sets such as a 50-guest garden party or a ceremony package, for customers who would rather not build a list item by item.
Bigger orders with less effortTerms before commitment
Deposit, bond, damage, cleaning and cancellation terms shown before a customer requests or pays, written so people actually read them.
Fewer awkward conversationsPages Google can read
A crawlable, server-rendered page for each category, with the details in text rather than inside images, plus redirects that protect rankings your current site already has.
Visible for item and suburb searchesFast on a phone
Compressed images, no heavy sliders, and a first screen that loads quickly on mobile data. Google’s guidance is that the main content should appear within 2.5 seconds for most visits.
Customers stay to browse
Booking engine or quote cart?
Price certainty decides it.
If you could confidently charge a customer the moment they click, instant booking works. If you’d usually ask a question first, about access, labour or quantities, a quote cart is the honest choice. Most hire businesses end up with both.
- Fixed-price packages with simple delivery: instant booking with a deposit.
- Items with live stock in rental software: booking is possible, a quote is still fine.
- Marquees, styling, labour or tricky access: a structured quote request.
- Not sure yet: start with a quote cart and a “check this date” step.
Why category pages matter
Hire is a real search market.
Customers type the item and often the city. A hire site with a proper page for each category gives Google something specific to match. A single gallery page gives it almost nothing.

How a build works
From stock list to quote requests.
Every project starts with your inventory and pricing, not a template. That’s what decides the structure, the quote flow and what Google can find.
Inventory and pricing audit
What you hire, how each item is priced, where you deliver, and which items and occasions bring the best jobs.
Structure
Categories, occasions and packages, mapped to the searches customers actually make, with a redirect plan for every URL that already ranks.
Design and build
Phone-first pages using your own photography, the quote or booking flow, and any rental software integration.
Launch and measure
Search Console, lead events that only count confirmed requests, a test enquiry to your real inbox, and a review of the first month’s requests.

Our event work
See how we built for LC Events.
LC Events offers styling, décor and furniture hire and luxury picnics in Sydney. Their site presents hire as an enquiry-led service rather than a full catalogue, and shows how we handle photography, services, enquiries and technical SEO for an event business.
Questions
Hire website questions.
Do I need live inventory on my website?
Only if you want instant online booking. Many hire businesses do well with a quote cart and a “check this date” step, then add live availability once their stock is managed in rental software.
Will a new website lose the Google rankings I already have?
It shouldn’t, if the move is planned. We map every existing URL that gets search traffic to its new equivalent with permanent redirects, keep important content, and monitor Search Console after launch.
Can customers pay a deposit online?
Yes, where it suits your process. Fixed-price packages can take a deposit at booking. Quoted jobs work better with a quote the customer accepts and pays from a link.
Which platform do you build on?
We build fast, custom websites and connect them to the tools you already use where possible. If your rental software includes its own storefront, we’ll weigh that up honestly against a custom site.
What does an event hire website cost?
It depends mostly on catalogue size and integrations. A brochure-style site with a quote form is a very different job from 400 products with live availability. We quote after the inventory audit, in writing, before any work starts.
Do you write the product descriptions?
We can structure them and write the category pages. The specifics, such as dimensions, quantities and what’s included, need to come from you, because they have to be right.
